Santa’s Grotto – 11/12/09

Sam has asked Roger to be Santa and he has very kindly agreed to come for half a day (pm).  The Numeracy Room has been booked for Santa’s Grotto and volunteers will be required to decorate the room in the morning – volunteers to be confirmed later.  The PTA will need to know how many children will be taking part in this activity and have decided to add this to the letter/reply slip discussed above.

Photos with Santa

Helen (Swan Class) has volunteered to take photos of the children whilst they are visiting Santa.  Parents/Carers will need to indicate whether they would like a photo taken on the letter/reply slip discussed above.

Christmas Carols (round the tree) – 18/12/09

As discussed at the previous meeting the PTA will be selling tea/coffee and mince pies prior to carols round the tree.  We will charge £1.00 for a hot drink and mince pie.  Again the group felt it was important to find out who would be attending this event and this will also be included in the letter/reply slip discussed above.  Volunteers to be confirmed.

6.

DVD – School Christmas Play

Nigel will be asked if he is available to film the Christmas Play.  A licence will be required for the DVD and this activity will therefore depend on the cost of the licence.  Miss Green will be asked if the school’s IT suite has the facility to copy DVDs.  If this is possible helpers will be required to assist with this.  Again, parents/carers can order these using the letter/reply slip, which is being sent out.
